Microblog.pub is an extremely lightweight single user blogging system which is ActivityPub compatible:
You can follow development at:
You can see the code at:
https://github.com/tsileo/microblog.pub
It's still in alpha testing and not recommended for self-hosting yet, but thought some of you may be interested in following the project.

If you want to have a Medium-style text-based blog that people can follow on the Fediverse, you might want to try these:
Plume:
https://joinplu.meWrite Freely
https://writefreely.org
https://writefreely.org/instancesYou can either join an existing instance, or set up your own.
They federate with ActivityPub-based networks such as Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica etc. so you can follow their blogs the same way you would follow a person.

Not coming at you @kawa but to add thread rolling support would be defeatist to what #ActivityPub can do.
Instead, one could be allowed to write as much as they'd like to in posts.

You can add your WordPress site to the Fediverse by installing an ActivityPub plugin.
This lets anyone on Mastodon etc follow your site, comment on posts and share them on the Fediverse.
There are two WordPress ActivityPub plugins available right now:
Pterotype
https://getpterotype.com/
@jdormitAP for WordPress
https://wordpress.org/plugins/activitypub/
@pfefferleAn example of a WordPress site using Pterotype is WeDistribute:

I'm a bit surprised that anfora and pixelfed are the only IG/500px inspired federated projects.
We need more! #activityPub #choice

Wow okay. I'm really wishing things like 202 Accepted https://httpstatuses.com/202 was used in place of #ActivityPub.

question for #PleromaDev: is there any reason why #ActivityPub / #ActivityStreams version of the pages aren't advertised on the HTML-rendered pages?

#lazyweb anyone know of a list of projects that support the #ActivityPub #C2S (Client to Server) part of the spec?

We are working with Pleroma developers to ensure full support between Pixelfed and Pleroma!
@kaniini has created the LitePub extension, and we look forward to working with them on this new and exciting feature.

Our project wouldn't exist without everything the community, contributors and many people have done.
Thank you!
We can't wait to share many new updates that will be shipping soon 🚀

Had a good chat with @yabirgb about tagging people in photos on Anfora and Pixelfed. This would be a great use case for OCAP to allow users to opt-out of being tagged in photos. #activityPub

I invite ALL federation developers to hop into #social on irc.w3.org for conversations around the social Web. It's where a few discussions on #ActivityPub discussions occur.
I know that we have http://socialhub.network/ for this as well and I encourage the devs to use these places in conjunction to this one for conversations for historical and open discussion reasons.

@trwnh hmm not sure if I fully follow. Are you suggesting using status codes to determine the availability of a page? I think some stuff like 201, 410 and 401 and the like are used in #ActivityPub

@gaab @dublinux Gotcha. You'll want to return ActivityStreams data when you receive a request on your actor with 'application/activity+json' in the 'Accept' header. E.g.:
curl -H 'Accept: application/activity+json' https://write.as/blog/
