   Please, for the love of everything that is holy, if you're a speaker at a conference, go through your slides a couple of times, preferably with somebody else listening in, so that you don't get surprised by them.

     This slide from @cjd 's talk is super important to the whole #Mastodon / #Fediverse federate-or-not debate.

     Currently we have a system where admins can freely decide whom to federate with (as they should!), but there is no real transparency built-in IMVHO.
