So "The Strength and Patience of the Hill" is almost totally non-violent. (Well as far as gods go in the book).
They did execute three gods, but mostly when these were harming/have harmed/planned to harm, people he cared about.
Other than that they were focused on healing, well being of people.
Kinda sorta like enlightened person, or stoic master not caring too much about world, but helping others whenever possible.
