   still trying to figure out 'authenticated' posts in a way that's relatively simple to implement and secure enough that I can partly trust the flow to do financial work over (like selling something).

     like I said this a while back but I want to be able to sell things over the #fediverse. all of y'all producing art and work should be able to sell those things from here! commissions coming _directly_ from the fediverse or copywriting galore!

     @jalcine There's an ecommerce plugin for Hubzilla (and this has also been ported to Zap but hasn't yet been released on that platform). There are a few people seeing what they can do with it. A couple have been selling CDs and we've also used it for service upgrades, like premium plans that offer more file storage space or the ability to connect/follow more people than the baseline or "free" plan.
     
     Currently there's a paypal provider, but the payment interface is pluggable so you could pay with a money order or ZotCoin or cannabis if you have a provider interface for it.
