I don't like to see the use of c() for its side effects. In this case Marc's as.vector seems to me to be self-explanatory, and that is a virtue in programming that is too often undervalued.

I think I managed to actually have my #rstats package build process on travis CI set up so that it doesn't need to build any packages from source. I am mildly proud of that, it only took me like 4 tries m)
