pinkprius (pinkprius)'s status on Saturday, 16-Mar-2019 18:08:03 CET pinkprius Oven baked #potatoes.
I saw a video about putting whole onions into the oven, tried that. Also I am still figuring out how to bake #tofu, this one is a little bland again :/
#SoyYoghurt with a tablespoon of sweet chili sauce is a great sauce for this!

Sheogorath 🦊 (sheogorath)'s status on Sunday, 10-Mar-2019 17:42:36 CET Sheogorath 🦊 Since I just realized that it's maybe the only Mastodon instance with the focus on food, I just want to make it a bit more known:
I couldn't find any other english-speaking Mastodon instance with the focus on food on https://instances.social.
When you feel lost on one of the bigger instances, maybe it's something you were looking for.

bhtooefr (bhtooefr)'s status on Sunday, 13-Jan-2019 00:33:39 CET bhtooefr So I've been curious about the Impossible Slider (https://impossiblefoods.com) for a while now, although it wasn't available in my area (I think some places in Columbus have them now).
Then I found out White Castle took the Impossible Sliders nationwide, so sure, why not.
Texture: Maybe a bit soft, but it's White Castle. Not bad, though.
Taste: ...it tastes like you took beef, but replaced whatever made it taste umami with soy or mushrooms or something. Weird, but not bad.

(That's also not the only question the article asks.)

pinkprius (pinkprius)'s status on Wednesday, 10-Oct-2018 19:32:21 CEST pinkprius I don't know if you have noticed, but I take photos of my #food.
The #pumpkin from the oven was very bland, probably a wrong variety of pumpkin.
The #hummus was very good!
