Did Fedora's C.UTF-8 collation order change on Rawhide recently? It doesn't seem to match Debian's/FDO flatpak runtime's anymore. :/

Sheogorath 🦊 (sheogorath)'s status on Friday, 20-Sep-2019 01:27:56 CEST Sheogorath 🦊 Friends at Fedora with a Yahoo account, please watch out:
https://smoogespace.blogspot.com/2019/09/attention-fedora-yahoo-email-users.html
TL;DR: Yahoo filters mails form Fedora's mailinglists etc. So when you want to stay in the loop, you either have to check bugzilla and Hyperkitten yourself, or maybe just get another mail provider.
I recommend to get an own domain while switching (if you not already have), that makes switching in future so much easier 😉

Sheogorath 🦊 (sheogorath)'s status on Friday, 13-Sep-2019 10:38:25 CEST Sheogorath 🦊 Hey developers,
it's time to support your Fedora Userbase as simple as possible.
Packit-as-a-service is here, which simply integrates with your upstream repository and allows builds on the latest version of Fedora, so all your project can be automatically picked up by latest Fedora release engineers and integrate it into the next version of the OS.

(More docs should follow soon)

Sheogorath 🦊 (sheogorath)'s status on Friday, 30-Aug-2019 10:51:39 CEST Sheogorath 🦊 If you wonder why people love to use the CLI on Linux one of the main reasons is piping commands.
The #Fedora magazine just published an article teaching the basics. Maybe you'll enjoy it, give it a try :)

Michael J. Gratton (mjog)'s status on Wednesday, 14-Aug-2019 03:23:12 CEST Michael J. Gratton What's the best way to get a Fedora Rawhide packaging bug fixed? The `folks-devel` package currently isn't installable because of a package dependency that seems to no longer exist. I just filed https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1740958 but will anyone actually see it and do something?

Sheogorath 🦊 (sheogorath)'s status on Tuesday, 25-Jun-2019 00:06:52 CEST Sheogorath 🦊 Do you use `pass` as password manager on your machine?
There is an extension to verify your passwords against the HIBP database of known passwords and make sure that your password wasn't exposed during a data breach. (Of course without telling your password apart)
This extension is packaged on #Fedora as pass-pwned.
Brian "bex" Exelbierd wrote an article about it, and how to install it on any other distro on opensource.com:

The Fedora project is quite big and organizes hundreds of contributions and contributor in a democratic way with various groups and places where you as well as any other community member can be elected:

Feel free to join us and participate. You don't need to be a developer, a translator, an innovator, a supporter, …

Sheogorath 🦊 (sheogorath)'s status on Monday, 20-May-2019 23:53:30 CEST Sheogorath 🦊 The Fedora Magazine provided a new article about using the Fedora Account System (FAS) and how to use the desktop integrated Kerberos Login to have SSO enabled for all Fedora services:
https://fedoramagazine.org/getting-set-up-with-fedora-project-services/
And did you know, that the FAS works with CodiMD when you enabled the OpenID login?
Just sign into: https://<your account name>.id.fedoraproject.org 🎉
And yes, you can try it on https://demo.codimd.org

Will try to use it tomorrow and see if it fits for my usecase.
Already thanks a lot @paul for working on this!

Sheogorath 🦊 (sheogorath)'s status on Thursday, 21-Mar-2019 22:44:04 CET Sheogorath 🦊 Using Gnome and want to speed up your workflow?
Switching the application is easy, `Super-key + tab` and you can switch through applications. But what if you have multiple windows per application?
`Super-key + ^` will do the job. It let's you either switch through windows of your current application or through windows selected using `Super-key + tab`.

Sheogorath 🦊 (sheogorath)'s status on Friday, 15-Mar-2019 18:02:37 CET Sheogorath 🦊 Let me give you a little bit of my background as well: I'm the current maintainer of #CodiMD, a open source markdown collaboration platform, work with #puppet and #Ansible on a daily basis, founded a local #Docker meetup and give courses about Docker and #git.
I'm running #Fedora and #CentOS all day long and I'm a big friend of #SELinux. But I also don't mind to play on #Ubuntu and make things work there.
Hope those background information helps you to reach out to me :)
